Data governance
The control room for how trustworthy each client record is: where every field came from, what still needs review, which filings are due, and where new documents get filed.
What this is for
AI drafts are only as good as the data behind them. Data Governance is the place where you can see — and take responsibility for — exactly what CorpSec AI holds on each client, where it came from, and how sure you are of it. Open it from the left-panel menu.
Across the top are four summary tiles — Companies Managed, Avg. Data Completeness, Overdue Filings and Due Within 30 Days — and then six tabs.
Data Quality — field-level source and confidenceLive
Pick a company and CorpSec AI lists every tracked field — Company Name, Registered Address, Directors, Financial Year-End Month and more. Each field carries two badges: a source (ACRA API, Natural Language, CSV, Manual Entry or File Import) and a status that tells you how far it has been verified.
- Choose the companyUse the selector at the top of the Data Quality tab. The summary on the right shows how many fields are in conflict, awaiting review, or confirmed.
- Confirm or reject a valueWith a write-enabled role, each value has a Confirm and a Reject button. Confirming records who did it and when.
- Resolve a conflictWhen a field shows values from different sources side by side (Value A, Value B…), click Use Value A/B to keep one, or Enter new value to type the correct one.
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Missing | No value on record yet. |
| Draft | A value exists but has not been reviewed. |
| Needs Review | Waiting for someone to confirm or reject it. |
| Internally Confirmed | A colleague has confirmed the value. |
| Externally Confirmed | Confirmed against an external source / document. |
| ACRA Confirmed | Matched to the ACRA registry. |
| Conflict | Two or more sources disagree — needs resolving. |
| Rejected | The value was rejected and struck through. |
The ACRA API source and ACRA Confirmed status appear where data was matched to the registry. Live ACRA lookup is not connected out of the box, so in a fresh workspace most fields will carry Manual, CSV, File Import or Natural Language as their source instead. See Getting started for what the demo sync does.
Compliance DeadlinesLive
The Compliance Deadlines tab lists the statutory dates CorpSec AI derives for your book — Annual Return (ACRA), AGM / Members Meeting and ECI Filing (IRAS) — each tied to a company, with a countdown that turns amber and red as it approaches or goes overdue.
These deadlines are calculated from each company’s Financial Year-End month. If a company has no FYE month set, its deadlines cannot be worked out and it will not appear here — set the FYE first (on the company’s Details tab).
Data CompletenessLive
The Data Completeness tab ranks your companies by how much of their core data you hold, worst first, each with a percentage bar. Anything under 60% is flagged so you can top it up — a fuller profile means the AI drafts more accurately with fewer questions.
FormsLive
The Forms tab is a firm-wide view of the client forms you have sent — their status (Sent, Viewed, In Progress, Submitted, Expired, Draft) and, once a client submits, the answers they filled in. It is the review side of the form-collection flow.
Sending a form and the mechanics of collection are covered in Forms and signing.
Document Inbox
The Document Inbox tab is where you bulk-ingest documents: drag in a whole folder, drop a zip, or pick many files, and the AI reads each one, recognises its type and files it to the right company. Anything it cannot confidently place waits in a Pending Review queue below for a one-click assign.
This has its own full guide — see Document Inbox for how ingestion, recognition and the pending queue work, including the cost estimate.
Data ImportLive
The Data Import tab holds the spreadsheet importer — upload an Excel or CSV of your clients, let the AI map the columns, and create them in bulk — together with a history of past import jobs for the firm.
The full walkthrough is in Import your client book.
Frequently asked questions
Who can confirm or reject field values?
Anyone with a write-enabled role. Viewers see the data and its provenance but the Confirm / Reject / resolve controls are hidden for them.
Why does a field show a conflict?
Because two or more sources gave different values — for example a spreadsheet import said one address and a manual edit said another. Data Governance surfaces both side by side so a human decides, rather than silently overwriting one.
Is the ACRA data real?
Live ACRA registry lookup is not wired up out of the box. Where you see an ACRA source or "ACRA Confirmed" status it reflects the demo sync; your own imported and manually entered data is fully real and yours.
How is “completeness” calculated?
From how many of a company’s core fields (address, officers, FYE month and so on) are populated. It is a guide to how confidently the AI can draft for that company.
This is a product guide for CorpSec AI. Where a feature runs on demo data or is not yet released, it is labelled as such. Compliance references are general information for Singapore corporate service providers, not legal advice.
