Step 1 — Create your account

Go to the sign-up page and create your workspace. You only need an email and a password (at least 8 characters). This is a real account backed by secure authentication — there is no long form to fill in.

The "Create your workspace" sign-up screen: email field, password field, and a "Create account" button.
  1. Open the sign-up pageClick Start free in the top-right of the website, or go straight to /signup.
  2. Enter your email and a passwordUse your work email. The password must be at least 8 characters.
  3. Click "Create account"If we send a verification link, check your inbox and confirm your email, then sign in. Otherwise you land straight in your workspace.
Note

The first time you sign in, CorpSec AI automatically creates a firm workspace for you and makes you its Admin. If a colleague already invited you, you join their firm instead, with the role they gave you.

Step 2 — Run the Setup wizard (six steps)

The first time you open your workspace, a Setup wizard appears over it. The header reads "Setup CorpSec AI · Step N/6". You can press Skip setup at any time and come back later — the wizard re-opens from the "Add company" / "Import companies" buttons on your empty workspace.

Here is what each of the six steps does:

The Setup wizard modal, showing the "Step 1/6 — Create your CSP profile" screen with a single firm-name field.
  1. Create your CSP profileConfirm your firm name. This replaces the placeholder name we generated from your email.
  2. Invite your teamAdd colleagues by email and pick a role for each. Invites are recorded when you continue and we email them where we can — you can also share the signup link or add people later from the Team section. Skip this if you are solo for now.
  3. Security configurationChoose where files are stored (Cloud Encrypted is recommended), who can see sensitive data, and accept the AI data policy. Your data is never used to train AI models — you must tick this to continue.
  4. Import your client listLoad your clients. You have three options: click Load sample client book to add five demo companies, upload an Excel/CSV, or type in UENs / add a company by hand. (See Step 3 below.)
  5. ACRA bulk syncPress Sync all companies to pull registry data for the companies you added. See the note below about demo vs live data.
  6. You're readyChoose Go to workspace or Create first task to jump straight into your first piece of work.
Tip

In a hurry? Just click Load sample client book in step 4, then Sync all companies in step 5, and you will have a populated workspace with a live compliance calendar in under a minute.

Step 3 — Load a sample client book (one click)Demo data

The fastest way to see the product in action is the Load sample client book button in the import step. It adds five ready-made demo companies — such as "TechNode Alpha Pte. Ltd." and "Marina Bay Consulting Pte. Ltd." — complete with directors, addresses and financial year-ends.

These become real, working records in your workspace: they appear on your compliance calendar, you can open tasks against them, and the AI can draft documents for them. Only the source of the data is a demo — the records themselves behave exactly like real ones.

Note

Live ACRA registry lookup of arbitrary UENs is not connected out of the box. Until a registry integration is switched on, "ACRA bulk sync" resolves the five demo companies and shows a "Preview mode" label. Real client data you upload from a spreadsheet is fully yours and is not affected by this.

Step 4 — Create your first task

A task is a single piece of corporate-secretarial work — appointing a director, filing an annual return, onboarding a client, and so on. On the last wizard screen, click Create first task and CorpSec AI opens a director-appointment task against your first company and kicks off the AI conversation for you.

From then on, you create tasks yourself using the + New task button in the left panel: pick the company, choose the task type, and add a first instruction.

The three-column workspace with a new task open in the centre and the AI beginning to respond.

Step 5 — Generate your first document

Inside a task, type what you want in plain language — for example, "Help me appoint Jane Tan as a director." The AI reads the company's data, drafts the correct document, and shows it in the Document tab on the right. You review it, make any changes by commenting on the text, and download the Word file or send it for signature.

That is the core loop of CorpSec AI: you say what you need, the AI does the work, and you confirm.

Tip

Next, read The three-column workspace to learn where everything lives, then Documents to master reviewing and editing.

Frequently asked questions

How long does setup really take?

A few minutes. If you load the sample client book, you can be looking at a populated compliance calendar in under a minute. Importing your own spreadsheet of clients takes a little longer while you check the column mapping.

Do I have to finish the wizard in one sitting?

No. Press Skip setup whenever you like. The wizard re-opens from the empty-state buttons on your workspace, and you can invite team members or import clients later.

Is the sample data safe to use?

Yes. It is clearly labelled demo data and lives only in your own workspace. You can delete the sample companies at any time, or simply ignore them once you import your real book.

Can I invite my team before importing clients?

Yes — step 2 of the wizard sends invites. You can also do it any time from the Team section. See Team & roles.
